Boom SKITE - third generation kite combining years of design experience with latest materials and technology. This makes SKITE a high performance and safe kite designed for pure kiteboarding fun!
The latest version of the SKITE now comes as SKITE CONVERTIBLE in sizes 9.0 and 11.5. That means SKITE 9.0 convertible and SKITE 11.5 convertible can now be used on water, too. We added convertible inlet valves that are rolled up and fixed with Velcro straps when delivered and can easily be unrolled for use of the kite on water. To un/roll the valves easy access is provided by the pressure release valve at the trailing edge of the kite. We also added Velcro openings at the wing tips to clean the kite from debris or water.
Performance of Boom SKITE is on a unique level due to the highly efficient aerodynamic wing design making kiting more enjoyable than ever. The kite keeps its shape well in all conditions from working hard in light winds to flying at extreme angles in high winds. The fast turning speed makes it easy to work in light winds and agile for tricks and kite loops when powered up. The rigid structure allows a uniquely low number of bridle lines and hence the airflow underneath makes the SKITE more efficient and suitable for low wind conditions.
Safety has always been the determining factor in kite design for Boom kites. In the SKITE several details are combined to allow maximum safety for both the rider and the bystanders. The safety line is made redundant by an easy to use leashless safety system which minimises the risk of entanglement and makes it easy to untwist the bar after spins or loops. For ground control the wing has safety valves to prevent damage to the kite in powered crashes and to ease the pull when landed on the leash. The de-powering system allows extremely large wind range as the Skite can be flown with front A lines only. This uniquely large angle of attack adjustment makes gust control extremely easy and efficient.

Easy to use
